Croydon Opportunity and Fairness Commission has announced the launch of its final report. The event is being hosted at Croydon College. Attendees are asked to enter the college via the reception on College Road.
The launch marks the culmination of the commission’s work and comes at a time of significant change for Croydon borough. The commission is calling on residents, workers and businesses from all corners of the borough to attend the event and join in on the change to build a better Croydon.
The event will begin with the commission setting out its findings and ideas. These have developed out of its engagement with more than 3,000 local people since its inception in January, and have been further refined over the last few months since the release of its interim report "Building a better Croydon for everyone". Individuals and organisations will then be asked to come forward and commit to making these ideas reality.
The Young Commission, who have engaged with more than 300 young people across the borough to hear their views, will give a presentation about their work.
There will be refreshments and an opportunity to meet new people. Copies of the final report will also be available.
You can reserve a place online here. Alternatively, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0800 612 2182.
The launch is being held on 28 January 2016 at 6:30pm.
